Since our 7-day bus/train card ran out yesterday we needed to buy something for today. Due to the terror activities yesterday several stations still were closed and we were suggested to buy a day travel card instead of a single trip to Heathrow. The reason was that we maybe would need to take detours.

Our plane would depart at 8pm, and we did not want to miss it so we left home at about 2pm. The trip to the airport went smooth, no mayor detours. At arrival we had almost 4 hours before the plane would depart.

Then the usual routine followed: waited for check in, visited the airport shops (Harrod's among others) and spended the last money.

The plane departed in time.
