This is how our first hotel looked like. We only slept here for one night before we left for Luxor.

Of all cheap hotels we stayed at in Egypt, we got the best breakfast here. Besides the normalm bread, butter and marmalade we also got omelette!

Hi Fredrik. Nice page :)
I want to ask you about the exact location of 4 Seasons Hotel and the price. I am going to stay in Hurghada for a while and looking for a place like this. Is it far fron the centre (Sekkala)?
Thanks. You can also write me: <e-mail censored>
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Nika

Hello Nika! Thank you! :)
My friend and I paid 65 Egyptian Pounds for that double room (so 32.5 EP each). I think this was a good hotel with good quality/price and close to the main street.
The hotel is situated in the Ad-Dahar part of Hurghada so it's not too near Sekkala. You would have to go by taxi or bus to go to Sekkala. If you necessarily want a hotel near centre - I would recommend You to look for another hotel in Sekkala (If you not already have it I recommmend the Lonely Planet's guide book about Egypt. Lots of info about Hurghada hotels and everything else in Egypt).

I'll try to find a map of where to find the hotel if you're still intrerested? (I have it here somewhere...)

See You! :)
Fredrik

Hi Nika,
I just e-mailed You a map of Ad-Dahar. I've marked out Four Season Hotel, Empire Hotel and Snafer Hotel. Snafer is another pretty good hotel I've tried.
The Empire Hotel I marked out only as a reference.

Fredrik,
I'm planning my trip to egypt for this september. I will on be staying for one night, and I was wondering if you think the empire or the snafer are worth the extra few bucks over the 4 Season? I guess they are located within a few blocks of each other. Thanks

Hi Kris,
I haven't tried the Empire hotel. All I can say is that it looks good from the outside (not saying much). According to a guide book dated 2005 the double rooms are about 50 USD (should be a little more expensive now). Not extremely much, but four times more expensive than the 4 Seasons and the Snafer.

Choosing between Snafer and 4 Seasons, I prefer 4 Seasons. The room was not in perfect condition, but I was satisfied with it. Overall a nice budget hotel. More cosy than Snafer.

/Fredrik
